Yes, David Lynch announced a fully colorized version of his seminal work.

Oh, wait!

That’s just satire from the Onion that we almost fell for today.

But BECAUSE we searched google news for “Eraserhead,” you know. Just to see. This Sept. 2 story from Far Out Magazine came up, and fans should read it.

Did you know that Jack Nance, star of “Eraserhead,” grew up in Oak Cliff and went to South Oak Cliff High School?

The film, which launched Lynch’s career in film, took five years to make, and it was only possible because of dedicated crew and actors including Nance, who had faith in him.

The magazine story goes into Lynch’s insane vision for the film and the ones who believed.
