Happy birthday, Jack Nance

Out of all the rich nuggets of Oak Cliff trivia, one of my favorites is that actor Jack Nance, who starred in "Eraserhead", grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School. He was born on this day in 1943, and he died in 1996.

Nance appeared in many a David Lynch flick, including "Lost Highway", and he was in Lynch’s TV series, "Twin Peaks".

But he also did plenty of things not related to Lynch. For example, has a cameo in this classic skater-punk video.
