One man died and three people were wounded in separate violent incidents this weekend.
Police found a man wounded on the side of the road near Mount Saint Michael Catholic School on Cockrell Hill at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The 25-year-old later died at the hospital of “homicidal violence.” Police have not said how he was killed. They are still seeking a suspect and have not identified the victim.
A gunman wounded three people at a home near Bahama Beach Waterpark in Red Bird at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday. The man shot three people after a fight during a party at the home and then got away. Police arrested several people at the party, some on outstanding warrants, but didn’t find the shooter. The victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
