Markel Hall
The Dallas Police Department arrested a 34-year-old band assistant at South Oak Cliff High School who is accused of raping a student.
Markel Hall, a teacher assistant who co-directed the high school’s band, was charged with sexual assault with a child. He is in jail with a bond set at $15,000.
Hall is accused of picking the 16-year-old girl up from school and taking her to his house where, “they had sex,” according to an arrest affidavit.
He could be charged later with another felony, improper relationship between a student and teacher, according to CBS DFW.
