It’s so hard to say goodbye to heavy-handed blueberry pancakes, brisket hash and the big rib.
The owners of Smoke restaurant sold it to the Belmont Hotel, and Saturday, Dec. 15 is their last day in business.
Chef Tim Byres and partners opened Smoke in 2009.
The restaurant has ben recognized by the New York Times, Washington Post, Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, Southern Living Magazine, Men’s Health, Garden and Gun Magazine and many other publications over the years.
“Smoke has shown me how to be the person I always wanted to become. I have too many memories of struggle, grit, celebration, love and companionship around our tables,” Byres said in a statement.
