A worker at El Rio Grande supermarket shot someone inside the store Monday night.
A store maintenance worker at the store on Jefferson told police that several men walked into the store around 11:30 p.m. and caused an altercation. One of them was armed with a gun.
The worker fired his gun and struck one of the men. The injured man later was brought to the hospital in serious condition, KXAS reports. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
