Kidd Springs Park becomes a meat-smoking haven Friday night and Saturday for the 10th-annual Blues, Bandits and BBQ. Tasting tickets cost about $30 for Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and about $45 for Friday, 5-10 p.m., and Saturday. Attending the festival, which includes live bands, is free.

The Bishop Arts Theatre Center presents “A Dress for Lonely Death” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, plus a 3 p.m. matinee Saturday.

The Día de los Muertos block party at CocoAndré Chocolatier is from 5-9 p.m. Saturday.

A Día de los Muertos celebration at Arts Mission Oak Cliff includes choral and dance performances as well as offrenda displays.

Over the Bridge Arts celebrates “burning woman” at The Wild Detectives Saturday at 7 p.m. It’s a night of theater, poetry reading, dance and performance art.

Maroches Bakery’s Día de los Muertos celebration is from noon-11 p.m. Sunday.

The Texas Theatre offers “Godzillathon,” a Godzilla triple feature, starting at 3 p.m. Sunday.
