We stopped by two National Night Out events Tuesday, in Winnetka Heights and Kings Highway, and mostly took pictures of animals.
Twelve Hills Nature Center invited the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, which brought falcons, hawks and owls.
We arrived just in time to snap this photogenic owl before it went back in the box.
Awwdoptable, an animal rescue featured in the September Advocate, brought adoptable cats and kittens.
I mean…
Winnetka knows how to pizza party.
And they have millennial appeal.
