Dorian Killebrew was charged with murder and is in the Dallas County jail with bail set at $250,000. Killebrew is accused of shooting Christopher Franklin, 37, multiple times at an apartment in the 700 block of North Marsalis at about 4 a.m. April 17,  the Dallas Morning News reports.

A witness told police Killebrew was at the apartment and then left briefly to buy a bag of chips. Surveillance video from a nearby convenience store shows Killebrew buying a bag of Ruffles, police say. They found the bag at the murder scene, bearing Killebrew’s fingerprints, they say.

The witness picked Killebrew out of a photo lineup, and after a police interview, they say he admitted to killing Franklin. Killebrew was already on probation for a 2017 home burglary.
