Elvis Presley would be 85 years old this week.
El Ranchito’s annual celebration of the birth of the King of rock ‘n’ roll starts on the actual day, Wednesday, Jan. 8, when Elvis impersonator Johnny Rockit performs.
Elvis tribute artist Victor Treviño Jr. performs Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The last two Wednesdays of the month, Jan. 22 and 29 are reserved for the restaurant’s annual Elvis impersonator contest. The contest is free to enter and open to people of all ages (a 10-year-old won in 2014) with prizes for each night of $500, $200 and $100.
If you want to see the shows, make reservations. There’s a $5 per person cover charge.
