If there is one restaurant that can bring all of Oak Cliff together, it might be La Calle Doce.
The restaurant’s original Oak Cliff location closed temporarily Thursday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The restaurant, open since 1981, is being cleaned and sanitized, and they haven’t announced when they’ll reopen.
Many neighbors showed support for the restaurant on social media.
“Love your restaurant. Stay safe and I hope your team member completely recovers,” Kathie Aiello says.
“Cheering our favorite restaurant on, and can’t wait to dine with y’all when everything gets back to normal,” says Sarah Martinez.
If you’ve just gotta have those camarones, the Lakewood location is still open.
