Later in the evening hundreds of protesters marched onto the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge when police positioned themselves in front of the group. After protesters made it on the bridge, DPD placed officers behind them, blocking them in. Police began arresting people for obstructing a highway, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Shortly after, DPD released the protestors in front of the Frank Crowley Courthouse, NBCDFW (Channel 5) reported.

More protests are expected to occur this afternoon around Flag Pole Hill in Lake Highlands.
