The Dallas Police Department recovered a dead body from Lake Cliff Sunday night.

The body has not been identified, and police classified it as an “unexplained death.”

That news comes after three murders in Oak Cliff in two weeks.

The most recent was in the 200 block of North Justin, in the Arcadia Park neighborhood. Lawrence Salazar, 39, was shot at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday. He died at the hospital. At about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, police found 37-year-old Gabriel Ortiz Soto dead inside his home in the 2300 block of Engle Avenue, near Hampton and Illinois. Ortiz died of “homicidal violence,” the police found. No suspects have been named in this case. At about 9:45 p.m. Sunday, May 31, police found 28-year-old Joseph Langly Ingram dead of multiple gunshot wounds inside his apartment at 1025 W. Wheatland Road, in the Red Bird area.
