Chasity Samone is a vision in white for Dallas-based designer Esé Azénabor’s newest bridal haute couture collection titled “Grand Cathedral.”

Samone, who is from Oak Cliff, was the February 2020 Playmate of the Month for the “On Equality” issue of Playboy. She went to Carter High School and is one of 11 children from a Baptist family. Samone’s February spread paid homage to Darine Stern, the first black woman to appear on the cover of Playboy.

Released last week, Azénabor’s newest collection was originally supposed to launch at New York Fashion Week in September, however due to the pandemic, she pivoted to an online show.

“Throughout history, cathedrals have represented both immense power and beauty,” Azénabor’s stated on Instagram. “With this collection, we tap into that confluence and explore the magnificence of details and measured opulence.”

Four looks from the collection were also presented in 3D, which Azénabor called “the future of fashion”. See the collection and Samone here.
