Dallas saw its heaviest months of crime in the last two months of 2020.
Crime peaked for the year on Nov. 14 with 209 offenses. Violent crime specifically peaked a week before that with 62 offenses.
This comes after the city saw a decline in crime between the end of July and the beginning of October.

Here’s what crimes have taken place over the last three days. Recently, some of the most common offenses in Oak Cliff were property-related, categorized as other and violent.
The city’s crime rate in 2019 was 41.84 per 1,000 residents. There were over 57,000 total crimes last year with 11,764 violent crimes and 45,279 property crimes.
