The window is open for graduating seniors in Dallas ISD schools to apply for scholarships funded in honor of Superintendent Michael Hinojosa.

At least two students from each comprehensive high school will receive a $2,500 Superintendent’s Scholarship, which is funded through the Superintendent’s Scholarship Golf Tournament. This is given to individuals who scored 850 on the SAT (critical reading and mathematics) or 23 on the ACT.

Along with completing the application, students must provide proof of acceptance to a college or university, transcripts, letters of recommendation and essays. To apply for the Superintendent’s Scholarship, submit all information to suptscholarship@dallasisd.org. To apply for the Green-Garner Scholarship, students should submit all information to their school counselor.

Both applications are due March 5, and winners will be notified in April.
