It’s still next to impossible for musicians to go on the road right now, but East Kessler neighbors organized a tour of local music.

The East Kessler Safari, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 18, is a tour of six front yards and driveways where local bands will be playing. Find the map, addresses and descriptions of the musicians below.

They did a similar event in December that drew about 150 people. Neighbors are invited to drive, walk or ride bikes from place-to-place and check it out. Masks are required.

Caitlin King

Caitlin is a singer-songwriter, born in East Kessler Park. Her biggest influences are Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Elliott Smith and Joni Mitchell. She is a multi instrumentalist in the process of recording her debut album.

Robert and Sarah Aberg
1622 Eastus
This jazz duo has been playing together since the early ’80s, after their first child was born. Sarah grew up singing in church choirs and studied classical voice at SMU. Robert has been playing guitar since he was 12 and likes playing Ed, Trigger and his other guitars.
