Stanford University highlighted one of its 2021 graduates, John Okhiulu, who is from Oak Cliff.
Okhiulu graduated from the Science and Engineering Magnet at Townview and received the Ron Brown Scholarship to attend Stanford. His “home” school was Roosevelt High School.
Okhiulu is set to graduate with bachelors degrees in African and African American Studies and Biology. He received the (not that) Tom Ford Fellowship in Philanthropy and begins the 11-month program in the fall.
