Steve Austin & the Bioniq Brass Band puts out Head of the Street on Elevated Busking records Sept. 24, and it will be available on all streaming platforms. The label also plans to release the album on vinyl, but that will come later because of global delays in production, says label co-owner Jason Roberts.

The band released a single, “If You Don’t Love Me,” last week.

“The music is very New Orleans second line inspired, high energy, and lots of fun,” Roberts says.

The bandleader, Steve Austin, is “an authentic Mardi Gras Indian,” he says.

An album release party is planned at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Sons of Hermann Hall.
