Odis Price is accused of shooting Robert Reynoso at 9:30 a.m. at a business in the 1600 block of East 11th Street, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Reynoso was denied entrance and returned, after walking to his car, when Price met him with a shotgun, police say. Price is accused of firing once, hitting Reynoso in the throat.

A woman who works in the gaming room told police that Price, whom she knew as “Cowboy,” told her that he’d been hired to kill Reynoso. She didn’t say who’d hired him, and she was not present at the time of the shooting, the newspaper reports.

Price is in the Dallas County jail with bail set at $500,000.
