Santa Claus comes early to our neighborhood this year with the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts.
Wear your PJs to breakfast with Santa, from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. Adult admission costs $15 and comes with “endless mimosas,” plus hot cocoa and doughnuts. There will be arts and crafts and carolers as well.
Then Santa will take a few hours to answer emails and have a catnap before returning at 6 p.m. for photos. Tickets to that cost $10, and a professional gift-wrapper, Michele Djirkovic, will also be on hand to wrap packages for $5-$20 each. Proceeds from that go to the Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association.
That event is the home base for the return of Light Up the Heights, which starts at 6 p.m.
