The pandemic sidelined Go Oak Cliff’s annual event two years in a row, but it’s back with a parade, a masquerade ball and a festival, plus Dash for the Beads.

Here are the details, via Go Oak Cliff.

Mardi Gras Masquerade Party
Friday, Feb. 25
7-11 p.m.
Oak Cliff Brewing Co. at Tyler Station
Must be 21 years and older
$75 per person includes beer, wine, light bites and live music

“Guests are encouraged to dress in costume with zany masks, beads, and lots of gold, green and purple. Listen to music, enjoy food from Chef Michelle Carpenter, and celebrate at the only brewery, tap room and biergarten in Oak Cliff.”

Mardi Gras Village
Sunday, Feb. 27
2-6 p.m.
715 W. Davis St.
General Admission costs $5
VIP bleacher seats cost $50 and include admission to the village, two beer tickets, a $10 food-truck credit, one seat in the bleachers on West Davis at Vernon.
Bleacher – $25 includes admission into the Village and one seat in Go Oak Cliff bleacher section

Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse and Party Kickin’ Brass Band perform. Easy Slider and the Ragin’ Casian food trucks and beers from Ben E. Keith will be available.

Transportation and parking
Go Oak Cliff says: Public transportation, shared rides or biking are the best options for access, but parking is also available on any side streets that are not permit-only and at the following locations:

– Kidd Springs Recreation Center, 711 W. Canty St.
– Lot at corner of Bishop Ave. and 9th St.
– Methodist Dallas Medical Center (paid parking garage), near Beckley and Colorado.
