Two leaders of an Oak Cliff nonprofit are featured in a Black History Month special on NBC this month.
Taylor Toynes and Xavier Henderson of For Oak Cliff are part of Unwavering: The Power of Black Innovation, a documentary film.
“The film celebrates the long legacy of Black innovation through portraits of nine Black leaders supported by Echoing Green’s Black Male Achievement Fellowship, the world’s first fellowship for social entrepreneurs creating systemic change for Black men and boys in the U.S.,” a media release from Echoing Green states.
Toynes and Henderson are among the nonprofit’s fellows.
