Perla Murillo started crafting cold pressed juices 100% from fruits and veggies in 2020. Working as an insurance adjuster, running a to-go business, and hosting pop-up events from time to time, she wanted nothing more than her own juice bar. She put in the work, saved her money and now she’s getting it. Better yet, we are getting it, Pressed by Perla, right here in Bishop Arts.
The Oak Cliff born-and-raised businesswoman is hoping to open in April, she says.
After five years with State Farm, she says she was ready to give herself full-time to the juice-bar life.
“It’s been a journey since I quit my job, anxiety and pressure, but with god with my side, I’ve made it through some battles,” Murillo says. “I get those little doubts in my mind, but I know this is where I’m supposed to be and this is my purpose.”
