The Dallas Police Department invited Sunset High School’s PTECH program to tour its police headquarters recently.
This visit comes a year later after Sunset High School established a law program with DPD, that helps students earn an associate’s degree with law-enforcement training.
Students met DPD executive assistant chiefs Albert Martinez and Lonzo Anderson, who shared advice on becoming a cop and the life lessons they have learned.
At the end of the programming, the PTECH students gave DPD with a banner to show their appreciation.
