The Bishop Dunne Catholic School football team participated in last year’s event.
The Oak Park Estates Neighborhood Association invites neighbors to join them in a community trash pick-up at Kiest Park Saturday.
Dallas residents can also bring bulky trash, such as broken furniture, and hazardous waste like paint and batteries to the event for disposal.
Sponsored by the City of Dallas Keep Dallas Beautiful program, trash bags, gloves, safety vests and grabbers will be provided near the Kiest Park softball complex.
The event is from 8 a.m.-noon, and you can let the neighborhood association know you’re coming to volunteer by emailing  oakparkestates1@gmail.com.
