Lexy’s, which will offer champagne at the press of a button and farm-to-table intentions, is their first new venture since taking over management of the restaurant complex from developer Phil Romano in April.

Julian Rodarte is the executive chef of Beto & Son and CEO of Trinity Groves. Alexa Rodarte is a marketing professional who is now marketing director of Trinity Groves.

“Back in 2016, I met Julian shortly after leaving my corporate marketing job and began working with him to brand Beto & Son, then started consulting for restaurants in various cities,” she says in a media release. “After spending an extended amount of time away from Dallas, we knew we wanted to create our first concept entirely together at Trinity Groves, which led to Lexy’s. This new concept is a compilation of the life experiences that Julian and I have had together, including our adventures around the world.”

Romano has known Julian “his whole life,” he says in the release: “He knows what young Dallas diners want and what intrigues them the most. I think there are a lot of exciting experiential moments Lexy’s has to offer Dallas’s dining community.”

Among the dishes described are wagyu hot rock, avocado toast on brioche, crab and lobster cakes, brisket-stuffed avocado croquettes, a 32-ounce tomahawk steak for two and a 24-hour brined roasted chicken half.

The interior, designed by Coeval Studios, is described as “modern-day regency.”

“… including floral-patterned wall coverings, upholstered seating featuring pastel pink and baby-blue fabric which add a touch of color to the moody space while whimsical feather chandeliers provide an intimate, yet playful ambiance for guests. Additional interior elements include spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows separating the main dining area from the covered patio, accent lighting, and an interactive champagne vending machine available for guests to order their bubbly at the press of a button while dining at Lexy’s.”

The restaurant opens Aug. 15 with these hours: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Monday.
