We’re all familiar with The Nightmare Before Christmas, but what about in the form of a ballet production?
That’s what several dance companies are bringing to The Texas Theatre next week from Dec. 17 – 18. Before the movie screens, there will be a live ballet performance.
The performance, aptly titled The Nightmare Before Nutcracker, will be a collaborative performance featuring Bishop Street Ballet, Outré Dance Project, Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico and Preston Hollow Dance.
Jack Skellington will attempt to kidnap the Nutcracker Prince, but things take a turn.
The ballet show starts at 8 p.m., movie screening is at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $18 and can be found here.
