The icy weather may have called off school for students across DFW, but little could stop thirteen South Oak Cliff high school football players from announcing where they will be playing college football.
Feb. 1 was National Signing Day, the day high school seniors sign National Letters of Intent with the collegiate programs they have decided to join.
South Oak Cliff had thirteen seniors sign letters with five different colleges. They are joining the nine players who committed to six schools back in December for early signing day.

McMurry University, a private school in Abilene, brought eight South Oak Cliff players into their program. McMurry plays in the Division III Lone Star Conference.
The McMurry football program has spawned several NFL players and an NFL coach, according to the school Wikipedia page.
Between early signing and national signing day, South Oak Cliff had twelve players commit to Division I schools.
