Rosemont Elementary School this spring marks 100 years of educating Dallas kids.
Organizers of the coming centennial celebration are now seeking contributions from former students — photos, stories and mementos.
“We believe the story of Rosemont is best told through the eyes of those who walked the halls of this beloved Oak Cliff institution,” the Parent Teacher Association says in a flier, “and we are asking you to please take a moment to dig up … those cherished memories and share them.”
The PTA says they’re seeking official Rosemont individual or class photos, including the year taken; on-campus photos with teachers or friends, such as sporting events or other school functions; stories about teachers who impacted your life; favorite memories and stories about how Rosemont influenced your life or career. And if you have relatives — parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles — who went to Rosemont, please spread the word.
