Now, three more Oak Cliff and Oak Cliff adjacent high schools are joining in.

Seniors from Kimball High School, Carter High School and Gilliam Collegiate Academy can expect to receive UNT Dallas acceptance letters in their mailboxes later this spring.

ā€œWeā€™re excited for this opportunity and we are going to make sure we do everything we can to make this partnership work for our students,ā€ saidĀ District 6 Trustee JoyceĀ Foreman.

All three schools are within District 6 boundaries.

Jose de Silva, Interim Vice President for Student Access and Success at UNT Dallas, told the Advocate that students will receive both an email acceptance and a physical acceptance letter. de Silva said the letters will be sent out sooner rather than later in order to catch students who may wait until the last minute to think about things like financial aid.

UNT Dallas has historically ranked as one of the top universities nationally for lowest student debt held by graduates.
