The annual Oak Cliff festival celebrating the legacy of Selena Quintanilla-Perez is back this weekend with two days of activities, movie screenings and art honoring the Queen of Tejano music.

The 214 Selena festival is held around the anniversary of the singers’ death which occurred 28 years ago.

Saturday’s events will take place along Jefferson Boulevard, with art shows at Top Ten Records and Oak Cliff Cultural Center running from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., respectively.

The art shows will be free to the public, and Top Ten Records will host a DJ, raffles, drinks and even a tattoo station for the most die-hard Selena fans.

The Texas Theater will show a screening of the Selena Movie on Saturday at 8:00 p.m., the only ticketed event of the weekend. You can get those tickets here.

An afterparty will be held at The Texas Theater at 10:00 p.m. and will be free to anyone age 21 or older.

On Selena Sunday, Four Corners Brewing Co. will host a market from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring music, performances, a talent contest, a vendor market and a lowrider show.
