Last Thursday, Hector P. Garcia Middle School received a $1,000 grant that will be used to help offset the cost of school supplies for classrooms.

On the same day, Arturo Salazar Elementary School was gifted $4,000 which will help provide uniforms to students.

“What a privilege to do this for students and families so they can focus on learning,” Raising Oak Cliff said in an Instagram post.

Earlier in the summer, the Bishop Arts STEAM Academy received a $3,000 grant to fund theater, dance and school store programs.

Methodist Health System is a sponsor for Raising Oak Cliff and contributed to the grants, according to the nonprofit’s social media.
