The home at 508 W. 7th Street was built in 1917 and totals 2,100 square feet.

“The space is currently outfitted for a kitchen, retail, and cafe. But the possibilities are endless,” the home’s listing says. “It’s literally a place where a dream became reality.”

Cindy Pedraza, who co-founded CocoAndré with her mother, said she hopes the home will be bought by a family with a small business, such as her own.

“When we left (our first location) it was the family from Encanto Pops that moved into that building. They were another Hispanic owned business, and it was family owned. So we were so  happy and relieved when they came in because that space was going to be cultivated and keep the same energy. I hope the same for this house,” Pedraza said.

Pedraza said the chocolate shop will stay open through the end of the year, and if a buyer is not found in that time they will remain open through the first quarter of 2024.

“We’re not in a rush,” Pedraza said.
