A 60-year-old man is dead after being critically injured in the 100 block of Polk Street earlier this month, according to Dallas police.
Dallas Police responded to a call for service around 3:15 a.m. the morning of Dec. 9 and found Ira Lollis critically injured in the location. Police said they believed Lollis had been assaulted by unknown individuals.
Lollis was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries on Dec. 27, police said.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
