A man has been charged with Murder following a weekend shooting death in the El Tivoli Place neighborhood.
Police responded to a shooting call in the 600 block of Reverchon Dr. around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 4. One man was found suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
According to a preliminary investigation, 21-year-old Kevin Estrada and 38-year-old Juan Carlos Villegas were fighting shortly before Estrada shot Villegas. Estrada left the location after the shooting, police said.
Villegas died from his injuries after being transported to a local hospital, and police said Estrada was found and taken into custody.
Estrada is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on one charge of Murder with bail set at $750,000.
