Deep Vellum Publishing and The Wild Detectives, two of Dallas’s literary pillars plan to join forces for a joint ten-year anniversary celebration.
Slated for April 19-21, The Wild Detectives will host a smorgasbord of live music, authors, visual and tattoo artists.
The weekend celebration will feature tunes from Christy Ray, Velada Vinilo and DJ Aniya Henre on Friday. Afro Perreo, Baba Kuboye, Poppy Xander, The Point, Mutarrancho and DJ Tempranillo will be Saturday’s soundtrack. And Loose Sounds, a free and open acoustic jam session will be held on Sunday.
Additionally, a “Special Poetic Feature” is teased for Saturday, and award-winning Ukranian author and poet, Oksana Lutsyshyna, will be in attendance to chat about her career on Sunday.
While enjoying the festivities, shop from a number of local vendors or get a spontaneous tattoo from Gino Dal Cin or Cactus Killer.
