District 1 Councilmember Chad West has launched a survey regarding the Martin Weiss park and pool, and neighbors are encouraged to fill it out by Oct. 15.
The survey seeks to better understand how our neighbors use the pool and what their priorities are moving forward. West says he was incredibly disappointed that the pool was not able to open this year because of a leak and the ongoing repairs.
While there is not currently funding for a completely renovated Martin Weiss pool or other aquatic feature, West wants to understand the community’s preferences, especially as they learn more about the extent of damages to the pool and also undergo the $9M Martin Weiss Recreation Center improvements from the 2024 Bond.
