Bishop Dunne Catholic School will host New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds for the school’s sixth annual Literary Festival.

Reynolds is known for his award-winning novels and poetry for middle school students and young adults. Some of his works include All American Boys (co-authored with Brendon Kiely), Coach from his Track series, and Miles Morales Suspended: A Spider-Man Novel.

Additional awards and accomplishments of Reynolds’ includes accolades from Newbery, Printz, Coretta Scott King, NAACP Image and Kirkus, according to the festival website. He was also a 2024 MacArthur Fellow and served as the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature from 2020-2022.

Tickets are available now for students at $5 and adults at $10. Doors open at Bishop Dunne Catholic School Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16. The talk begins at 6 p.m., followed by a signing at 7 p.m.
