Dallas police found a United States Postal Service employee shot to death inside a box truck this morning.
Officers responded to a call near the main Dallas post office, at Beckley and Interstate 30 around 2:20 a.m. Monday.
They found the driver, and homicide detectives were called in. U.S. Postal Inspectors also are investigating. No information about the victim has been released.

In a separate incident on Feb. 8, a Dallas Police squad car was fired upon from a location about a mile away from the site of this incident, although police don’t have any evidence that the two cases are related.
