Nitro Burger, a futuristic hamburger joint, is coming soon to Trinity Groves.
29-year-old restauranteur Julian Rodarte, who was recently named the CEO of Trinity Groves Restaurant Group, is opening the spot. Rodarte’s Instagram teases a spaceship-like interior decked out in neon lights and milkshakes crafted tableside with real liquid nitrogen.
The COVID-19 pandemic led to many restaurant closures at Trinity Groves. Rodarte is intent to replace what was lost; this will be the second restaurant he has opened since becoming CEO. The first, Lexy’s, is a farm-to-table concept that opened in August.
Nitro Burger is eyeing a Nov. 28 opening. It is located at 3011 Gulden Lane in Suite 104, a spot most recently occupied by Flourish, and before that by Fat Chicken. Fat Chicken has since reopened in Rockwall.
