Officers responded to a shooting call around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday. Police found two men shot and both were transported to a hospital. One victim, later identified as 23-year-old Stephano Osorio, died. The other victim, a 16-year-old male, is in stable condition, police said.

Salvador Martinez Jr. was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with murder in connection to the shooting. According to the affidavit obtained by the Dallas Morning News, Osorio and several others were at Kidd Springs Park in north Oak Cliff when Martinez, driving a Mustang, pulled into a nearby parking lot. The affidavit said Martinez and the people at the park had an “ongoing violent conflict” and the group left the park in two cars upon seeing Martinez arrive.

Osorio crashed his car and was forced to stop, and himself and his passenger then excited the vehicle and were shot by Martinez, the affidavit said.
Martinez was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.
