SOC was able to go into the half with a 10-0 advantage, and the Golden Bears scored 21 points in the third quarter to seal the game as Huntsville failed to keep pace with the explosive SOC offense. SOC has won eight matches by 31 points or more this season.

Junior running back Mikail Trotter carried the ball 18 times for 127 yards to wear down Huntsville’s defense. Quarterback Carter Kopecky completed 7 of 10 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown.

The Golden Bears are now one step closer to making it to their fourth consecutive championship game. They will face Marshall on Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at Tyler-Rose Stadium.
