A 14-year-old boy is dead after being shot early Thursday in east Oak Cliff.
On March 13 at about 1:30 a.m., Dallas Police received a call for service in the 1500 block of Exeter Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined that officers located a 14-year-old male injured. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and determined the victim had died.
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 035486-2025.
The teen’s identity is not being released due to his age.
