The Dallas Zoo’s wildly popular Dollar Days return this summer on Thursday, July 17, and Tuesday, August 5, offering $1 admission for all guests ages 3 and up (children 2 and under are always free).
Each year, the Dallas Zoo hosts Dollar Days to show appreciation for the community that supports the Zoo year-round.
“Dollar Days are one of the most important parts of our summer because they’re all about giving back to the community that gives so much to us,” said Lisa New, CEO of the Dallas Zoo. “We’re deeply grateful for the support we receive all year long, and it’s incredibly rewarding to welcome thousands of families through our gates to enjoy theZoo together. These days reflect the heart of who we are – making meaningful connections between people and wildlife, and ensuring those experiences are accessible to everyone.”
Admission tickets for both days are available now online at DallasZoo.com. The Zoo encourages guests to purchase early because tickets sell out fast every year. Tickets must be secured in advance; walk-up admission will not be available on Dollar Days.
In addition to the deeply discounted entry, guests will find snack specials available at pop-up locations in ZooNorth and Wilds of Africa, including $1, $2, and $3 deals on select snacks and beverages, including popcorn, ice cream, canned drinks, and more.
Also, making its return this year, hot dogs are back as a Dollar Day deal, priced at $4 each. Guests may bring their own food and drinks, although glass items, alcoholic beverages, and single-use disposable straws are not permitted.
