This morning, Oak Cliff filled the streets for Dallas City Council member Maxie Johnson and the District 4 community’s Veterans Day Celebration.
Starting at 10 a.m. the Veterans Parade travelled from the Glendale Shopping Center to Patriots Corner with flags and pride flourishing through the celebration of American heroes. The event featured high school bands and the Unique Corvette Club of Dallas to support veterans and families.
Following the parade, a Veterans Resource Fair is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4501 S. Lancaster Road across from the Dallas VA Medical Center.
Here are scenes from the Veterans Parade.
