District 4 Council member Maxie Johnson and Dallas Park & Recreation Board member Taylor Toynes will host the Kiest Tree Lighting Community Event on Sunday Dec. 14.
Activities will include bounce houses, a holiday movie screening, children’s crafts and activities and the opportunity for photos with Santa along with other holiday characters. Additionally, vendors and food trucks will be available with parking on site.
The free event will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. located at the Kiest Park Softball Complex.
Kiest Park Softball Complex is located at 3080 S. Hampton Road.
