The festival is a celebration of comedy, creativity, and community through four days of social events, workshops and live indie comedy, according to the DICF website.

Created by the Dallas-based nonprofit Indie Creative Lab, the 25 acts will feature more than 100 comedians from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and across the nation.

The headliner for this year’s festival is Silent Partners from Los Angeles, California. The Saturday night performance of Silent Partners’ Picture Show will bring a silent movie to life onstage, transporting the audience back to a 1920s movie theatre. The act stars Cole Saleh, Molly Renze and Danny Tee, with live piano accompaniment by JC Wright.

The festival runs from Thursday, April 9, through Sunday, April 12. Tickets are available here starting at $15, with the option to purchase a DICF Weekend Badge for $100 to attend all seven shows and a VIP Weekend Badge for $150 to add on a VIP Fest Bag.
