The official opening day ceremony and celebrations for Halperin Park will begin at 9 a.m. at the park’s 12th Street Promenade. The celebration will feature live performances, family fun, food and beverage, health and fitness classes and Amazon giveaways.

The Bishop Arts Theatre Center presents FLOAT, a one-woman play performed and written by Maryum Ali, the eldest daughter of Muhammad Ali. Performances take place Wednesday-Friday starting at 7 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday starting at 4 p.m.
