Espumoso Cafe: It’s open

Dropped in this afternoon and found owner Anthony Fernandez behind the counter. He’s still working on finishing out some of the decor and getting everything situated, but Espumoso Cafe is up and running.

I wanted to order a smoothie, and asked for suggestions. He recommended the acai, simply because it’s so different. For $3.99, it was large, filling and tasty — very sweet. They had run out of tres leches, which Ashley suggested in a previous post comment, so I’ll have to go back and try it another time.

Like many of the other Bishop Arts shops, Fernandez says he will stay open late tomorrow night for the shopping district’s First Thursday.
